Give trigger to IDS camera using Labview and save images

Hello.

I am completely new to .NET, and I've just download uEye.net Labview to

give the same trigger as Galvanometer to IDS camera (UI 2250 SE-M-GL) and save images from the camera.

 

I just got some VIs that IDS camera provides all users, for example Basics.vi, Simplelives.vi and so on.

 

But I have no experience about that so I don't know where to start and which VIs do I have to choose to

make such results.

 

The VIs provided by IDS camera can be found at : http://www.ids-imaging.com/go/edmund.

 

Please let me know how to solve this problem.

ISC-1782 smart camera not recognized in NI MAX

Hello,

 

I installed NI Vision Acquisition Software 17.5 (Release date: 01-23-2018) in my Windows 10 Dell Precision 7520 Mobile Workstation. But my ISC-1782 smart camera (with Windows 10 IoT) is still not recognized in NI MAX. The camera LEDs seem normal. Power LED is green, status LED is orange, use LED is off, and 100/1G LED is blinking green. There is a yellow triangle warning sign on the network icon of my laptop.

 

Please advise how to solve the problem. Thanks!

VBAI2015 and Ethernet IP

I have tried to using the EthernetIP function to communicate with PLC, OMRON CJ2M-CPU33.

Regarding with the white paper introduce to connect through eds file.

It cannot work with VBAI 2015, but it work with VBAI 2011.

Any person can suggest, Please let me know.

How to get a trigger signal from d-sub on NI PCIe-1427 frame grabber

Hello

I am using a PCIe-1427 frame grabber with a CCD camera. The camera works with a light source and I need to make a strobe light using a 15-pin D-SUB connector on PCIe-1427 frame grabber. I know that there are 4 trigger signals available to send on D-SUB connector. Does anybody know how can I do this? Is there any example or maybe somebody has any ideas? Thank you

How to detect Presence of Jumper Connector

Hi all,

I need to detect Presence of Jumper Connector using NI Vision Builder. I tried a straight forward method "Pattern Match" to detect Presence of Jumper Connector. The problem is, "Pattern Match" step only found 1 instead of all Jumper Connector on the board.

Any suggestions how to approach this challenge? This seems to be a tricky one.

Multiple USB Camera

I want to detect two Camera in a Single VI. The VI can detect both the camera but camera interchanges for a few seconds. Can this be corrected?

I have used my Laptop Webcam and an external Logitech USB Camera.

Error 0xBFF6001F when using Basler acA2000-340km and NI PCIe-1433

Hi all,

 I am using a Basler acA2000-340km camera and NI PCIe-1433 to acquire images. I couldn’t get any image using snap or a grab.

 I downloaded the camera file from the Industrial Camera Advisor website and then selected it in NI-IMAQ devices. But after connecting the camera, I still could not make a snap or a grab in MAX. It gave me "Error 0xBFF6001F : Cannot detect recognizable video source."

I don't know what’s wrong. I am using a National Instruments 199745A-05 PoCL MDR to SDR 5M cable. I connected the camera link with port 0 on PCIe-1433 to the Base port of the camera. The green LED on the back of the camera turned on but still couldn’t capture any images.

Can you transfer multiple files or a folder from the CVS to a PC?  Access via NI MAX or by using the IP address in an internet browser only lets me download 1 file at the time.

Vision Processing taking longer in .exe than in development

 Hello, 

I am writing an application that uses some VIs from the Vision Development Module. I process thousands of frames in sequence and have been looking at the timing for the processing. I've found that, on average, it takes about 10ms per frame when I am in development and running my code from within LabVIEW. However, when I run my application as an exe, it takes an average of 25ms. 

Has anyone seen this sort of behavior with the Vision Development? I would have expected to see shorter processing times in the exe since there would likely be less overhead and I'm not quite sure what I can do to troubleshoot it.

Hi all,

 

We are looking for a low-profile quad port ethernet adapter that works with the NI high-performance GigE driver. We used  to buy Intel PRO/1000GT quad-port server adapter, but these do not seem to be available anymore. Are there any alternatives ? Or any other normal height quad-port adapters as alternative for the specialised framegrabber adapters from NI or Advantech ?

Hello,

 

I'm using USB3 Basler acA3088-57 uc camera with NI-Vision Development 2016. I see the camera from the MAX but when I try to access the camera, I get "Invalid Parameter" error. I completely uninstall and reinstall whole NI software (LabVIEW, Vision Acq SW, Vision Dev Module, etc) but I still see the same error. I can access and grab image from "Integrated Camera". Is there any recommendation how to fix this? Is this camera not supported by NI? This works fine if I use Pylon (Basler's camera application).

Can I use ISC-1782 smart camera like a local GigE/USB camera?

Hello,

 

My ISC-1782 smart camera (NI Linux Real-Time version) is working well by deploying an example NI-IMAQdx image acquisition VI (Grab (178x Smart Camera)) to the camera as a remote system. But I want to use this camera with many other LabVIEW functions that cannot be deployed to the camera (e.g., play a sound file). Is there any way I can use this smart camera as a local GigE or USB camera connected to a laptop without deploying any VI to the camera? I tried using NI-IMAQdx Open Camera directly in LabVIEW but cannot find and connect the camera. 

 

Please advise how to solve this problem. Thanks!

Brightness setting problem After exposure setting

Dear Friends

I am using Windows Life cam camera But I have big problem

 

When I change a camera exposure manually, the image is getting dark. The image becomes brighter when I change the brightness setting to an old value. Is there a way to hang this problem?

I am duing a Vision project where I need to find the corners of a rectangular shape on a FPGA target. 

I need to find a FPGA compliant version of the IMAQ Corner detector vi.

I can´t find under any corner detection under the FPGA palette?

 

 

Is corner detection supportet on FPGA targets?
