Im currently looking to replace a camera used at a factory with a better one.
Im using it to read different types of barcodes. Its a usb camera:

It works fine, but I need something that allows adjustment for shutter speed and can set the focus and zoom remotely. The camera is enclosed in a box, making it hard to set the focus and zoom.
The pc itself is a small laptop. My budget is around $530, ZAR8000. Better resolution would also help I think. I also would like to know what licenses I need to get them to allow remote adjustment on the camera.
