Here's the situation.
I got a fresh windows installation, installed LabVIEW 2013 (for code compatibility reasons), and then installed Vision Acquisition Software so I could control a Point Grey USB3 camera.
However, I was careless, and didn't check the compatibility, and I installed VAS 17.1, which apparently is only compatible with LabVIEW 2014 and newer.
Oops. So, I used the same installer to uninstall VAS 17.1. It appeared to work.
I then downloaded VAS January 2017, which is the previous version, which is compatible with LabVIEW 2013. However, then the trouble started:
Higher version already installed? But I already uninstalled it!
So, there is apparently some trace of the higher version of VAS lingering in my system despite the uninstallation. I've been banging my head against this. Any suggestions? Thank you!
